Newcastle International Airport has opened a brand-new premium bar and restaurant that boasts spectacular views of the runway.
Replacing the Cabin Bar, the brand-new bar and restaurant which is named Aster & Thyme, features a botanical themed interior design with floor to ceiling windows.
Aster & Thyme will be available for drinks, as well as breakfast, lunch and dinner.
The development will create over 20 new jobs, and is part of a £20 million project to refurbish Newcastle Airport’s departure lounge.
Dean Ward, Director of Commercial at Newcastle International Airport, said: “Aster & Thyme embodies our commitment to provide passengers with a world-class travel experience, and this stylish brasserie will be a haven for travellers to relax and enjoy the best North East produce ahead of their departure – all with fantastic views of the airfield.”
