Bigger and better than ever Oktoberfest to return to Newcastle’s Times Square this Autumn

The biggest Bavarian themed party that the North East has ever seen is set to return to Newcastle’s city centre this Autumn.

Oktoberfest Newcastle will return to Newcastle’s Times Square this October, courtesy of the team at Two Tribes Organisation, who were behind other hugely successful events that have taken place in the same location, such as the World Cup Fanzone, Paddy Fest and Central Park.

With an event capacity of almost 4000, Oktoberfest is set to feature a fully traditionally dressed German marquee, “oompah” bands from across Europe and a wide range of authentic German beer and food options.

Oktoberfest will take place in October, with the opening night on Friday, October 13. The event will run every Friday and Saturday until Saturday, October 28.

Mike Hesketh from Two Tribes Organisation, states that “Oktoberfest just keeps getting bigger and better every year! The popularity of the event celebrations seems to be growing year after year, with more and more dressing up in traditional Bavarian attire!

Mike continued: “This year not only are we supersizing the Oktoberfest tent together with more décor and production, but have also added more dates to the diary, setting it up to be a huge month of partying at Times Square!”

Attendees at the event can expect party benches decorated in traditional Bavarian tablecloths, delicious German food delivered to your tables, hosts dressed in traditional German lederhosen and dirndls, and much more!
