Full list of Gateshead and Newcastle Quayside road closures this weekend for Gateshead road races
and live on Freeview channel 276
Sunday, May 5 marks one of the key Spring events in the North East running calendar with participants heading to the Gateshead International Stadium for the Gateshead 10k, half marathon and marathon.
This will be the first time a marathon is to be inlcuded as part of the day, meaning closures will last longer than previous years.

Hide AdAlthough the race stays off most major roads on either side of the Tyne, some closures will be in place to make way for runners as they chase their own personal goals.
The following road closures are in addition to the regular Sunday closures for the weekly Quayside Market.
