Newcastle’s Geordie Shore is back for a reunion special

A trailer was posted onto the Geordie Shore Instagram account last night, showing former Geordie Shore stars Marnie Simpson, Sophie Kasaei, Holly Hagan-Blyth and Charlotte Crosby discussing the idea of a big Geordie Shore reunion.

A Geordie Shore reunion has been in the pipeline for a few years, and many fans had speculated when it would happen and who would be involved.

In the trailer, Charlotte says to the group: “We can’t leave one person out, everyone has to be asked.” Sophie then appears to send a large group message, inviting past cast members to a Geordie Shore reunion.

Geordie Shore fans have been speculating which cast members will take part in the show, with many hoping for cast members from the earlier seasons such as Vicky Pattison, Gaz Beadle, Jay Gardner, Ricci Guarnaccio and Greg Lake.

Jay and Ricci can be seen in another trailer on the Geordie Shore Instagram account, confirming that they have agreed to do the show. There is no sign of other original cast members, and Vicky Pattison (who was the first person to walk through the Geordie Shore house doors) confirmed that she would not be taking part, and has no desire to return to Geordie Shore.

It has been announced that the reunion will air on MTV and Paramount Plus on September 20. It has been hinted that the show will focus on a group holiday, a party, and Holly Hagan-Blythe’s recent wedding.
