‘We are incredibly honoured’ Gateshead-based unique Indian restaurant nominated for prestigious award

An Indian fusion restaurant located on the Gateshead side of the Tyne Bridge, has been nominated for an award for their pioneering cuisine.

Raval Restaurant, located on Church Street, have announced that they have been nominated and selected as a finalist in the prestigious Asian Restaurant Awards 2023.

Raval pride themselves on their Indian cuisine which incorporates British twists to their dishes in order to provide an unforgettable dining experience for their regular and new customers, and are said to be delighted with their nomination.

The Asian Restaurant Awards acknowledge excellence in Asian and Oriental cuisines across the UK, and Raval Restaurant are proud to be nominated by their loyal customers for the coveted award.

Raval Restaurant has a remarkable reputation with five star food hygiene rating, and many exceptional reviews from satisfied customers on platforms such as Google and TripAdvisor, with an average rating of 4.5 stars.

The team at the Indian brasserie take great pride in their menu, which has been designed to showcase the rich tapestry of Indian flavours combined with contemporary twists and British influences.

Unique dishes on Raval’s menu include Darjeeling Lamb Cutlets and Goan Salmon Curry, among many others that have proven to be a big hit on the Newcastle and Gateshead restaurant scene.
