Away day WAGs - Newcastle United partners' spotted in Burnley away end

Newcastle United duo Joelinton and Bruno Guimaraes had weekends to remember - and their other halves seemed to enjoy the trip to the North West just as much.

While Guimaraes netted his sixth goal of the season in Newcastle’s 4-1 win at Burnley, his Brazil and Magpies’ teammate made his long-awaited return to action after around four months out.

The duo are big friends off the pitch, too, with Guimaraes naming his pal as best man for his wedding to Ana Lidia Martins in the summer of 2023.

And it appears as though their partners, Lidia Martins with Joelinton’s fiancee Thays Gondim, are just as close.

Both of the player’s partners were spotted among the travelling away support at Turf Moor.

It was an unusual move for the WAGs, who are so often spotted sharing VIP boxes at St James’ Park, while their other halves make the headlines for United on the pitch.

Guimaraes’ wife Martins was spotted wearing a retro early 1990s Newcastle United kit, made famous in the early Entertainers era.
