Matias Soule is valued at around £30million and has been linked with a summer move to Newcastle United

Juventus wonderkid Matias Soule has admitted he “dreams” about playing in the Premier League.

Newcastle United are one of several top-flight clubs reportedly chasing the winger. Currently on loan at Frosinone, Soule has impressed with 13 goal contributions despite being embroiled in a relegation battle.

The 21-year-old arrived in Turin four years ago from Buenos Aires club Velez Sarsfield. He was nurtured in the Juve youth ranks before his loan to Frosinone last summer.

An Argentina under-20 international, his playing style has been linked to compatriot Lionel Messi. However, a six-foot frame gives him a separate tool set to the former Barcelona superstar.

Italian reports claim Juventus would demand around £30million for Soule. Newcastle are chasing a right-sided attacker but could be reluctant to stump up a hefty fee for a youngster unproven in the Premier League.

There has also been talk of the Turin giants giving him a chance next season - although a crippling financial situation may force their hand. Juve were banned from UEFA competition this season for breaching FFP regulations and remain in a difficult economic position.

Soule outlined his desire to play in England - handing a major boost to the magpies. He told reporters: “I have no offers yet. I don’t know what I will do yet, it’s too early. I had offers from Saudi Arabia in January, but now I have nothing concrete.

“If you give me the chance to choose the league, I choose England, it’s one of the best in the world. It would be a dream to be there. I would also like to have a chance at Juventus.”
