Newcastle United will face Southampton in the semi-finals of the Carabao Cup.
The Magpies reached their first semi-final in 18 years after beating Leicester City 2-0 last night. Dan Burn scored his first goal for his boyhood club before Joelinton added a second.

Hide AdAnd standing in Eddie Howe’s side’s way of a Wembley final is the Saints, who shocked favourites Manchester City.
The first leg will be played at St Mary’s week commnencing January 23. The second leg at St James’ Park is the w/c January 30.
There is no ‘Away Goals’ rule in the Carabao Cup semi-finals. That means that, if the aggregate score is level after the second leg, the match will go to extra time (the first stage of the competition that extra time is active) and then penalties if needed.
Nottingham Forest play Manchester United in the other last four encounter.
The final of this year’s competition is set to take place on Sunday, February 25.
