Newcastle United's £2.2m weekly wage bill & how much each player earns - according to FM 2024

The Newcastle United wage bill according to Football Manager 2024.

Newcastle United embarked on an ambitious overhaul of their squad from the moment a PIF-led consortium completed a long-awaited takeover in St James Park.

Within three months of securing control of the club, the new owners improved the Magpies squad by adding the likes of Kieran Trippier, Dan Burn and Bruno Guimaraes to their squad during their first transfer window.

After securing their Premier League status, Eddie Howe's ranks were further boosted during the summer as Nick Pope, Sven Botman and Alexander Isak all agreed to move to St James Park. With an eventually successful push for a Champions League spot ongoing, Anthony Gordon was added last January before the preparations for life among European football's elite saw Sandro Tonali, Tino Livramento and Harvey Barnes all join on permanent deals.

All eyes are now on the January transfer window and it seems likely the Magpies wage bill will be added to when the winter trading period opens for business - but who is the current highest earner at St James Park.

NewcastleWorld fires up Football Manager 2024 to see how the world's most popular football management simulation assesses the weekly wages of the current United squad.
