Eddie Howe has named his 25-man Newcastle United squad for the Champions League group stage.

Newcastle United have confirmed its 25-man squad for the UEFA Champions League group stage.

The Magpies been drawn in Group F alongside Paris Saint-Germain, Borussia Dortmund and AC Milan, with the latter first up at the San Siro on Tuesday, September 19 (kick-off 5:45pm BST).

In line with UEFA rules governing selection, Eddie Howe has named an ‘A’ list of 23 players.

Summer signings Sandro Tonali, Harvey Barnes, Tino Livramento and Lewis Hall have been included along with the likes of Bruno Guimaraes, Joelinton, Sven Botman, Kieran Trippier and Alexander Isak, who all have played in the competition before.

Meanwhile, Elliot Anderson and Lewis Miley have been included on the Magpies’ ‘List B’ squad, along with other club-trained players born on or after 1st January 2002, making them eligible for selection.

Mark Gillespie, Emil Krafth, Javier Manquillo and Matt Ritchie have not been able to be included.
