The outrageous skills of fabled US basketball team The Harlem Globetrotters will be globe-trotting throughout 2023, with Newcastle selected as part of their series of UK dates. The basketball team will be performing at the Utilita Arena, Newcastle on May 3 2023.

Having formed in 1976, The Harlem Globetrotters pioneered a number of basketball skills that can still be seen in the NBA today. The slam dunk, the fast break, the forward and point guard positions, and the figure-eight weave were all unknown skills until the Globetrotters started to introduce them in games.

The Harlem Globetrotters UK tour will kick off at AO Arena in Manchester on Friday April 28 2023. It will then move on to Birmingham, London, Leeds, Glasgow, Newcastle, Sheffield, Cardiff and Nottingham, before a final show at Wembley in London.

How to get tickets to see the Harlem Globetrotters in Newcastle

Tickets to see the Harlem Globetrotters play at the Utilita Arena, Newcastle will be available through Ticketmaster from Friday November 11 2022 at 10am.

Those who have access to Three+ or Ticketmaster presales get released on Wednesday November 9 2022 from 10am and November 10 2022 at 10am respectively.
