New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Gateshead’s establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Gateshead’s establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Gilbert & Smiths, a pub, bar or nightclub at 413 Durham Road, Gateshead was handed a one-out-of-five rating after assessment on March 29.

And Saffron Indian Takeaway, a takeaway at 7 Arndale House, Durham Road, Birtley, Birtley was given a score of two on March 29.
