New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Gateshead’s establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Gateshead’s establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Lotus Leaf, a restaurant, cafe or canteen at 82 Durham Road, Birtley, Chester Le Street was handed a four-out-of-five rating after assessment on May 25.

And Subway, a takeaway at 556 Durham Road, Low Fell, Gateshead was given a score of one on May 25.
