New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Newcastle’s establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Newcastle’s establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

La Maschera, a restaurant, cafe or canteen at 1 Saint Nicholas Street, Newcastle Upon Tyne was handed a four-out-of-five rating after assessment on September 28.

And Ameens, a takeaway at 35 Groat Market, Newcastle Upon Tyne was given a score of one on September 28.
