New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Newcastle’s establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Newcastle’s establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Meli Cafe, a restaurant, cafe or canteen at Floor 3 142 - 146 Northumberland Street, Newcastle Upon Tyne was handed a zero-out-of-five rating after assessment on November 29.

And Romeo Pizza, a takeaway at 93 Benfield Road, Newcastle Upon Tyne was given a score of three on November 29.
