New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of North Tyneside’s establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s good news for them both.

New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of North Tyneside’s establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s good news for them both.

Acorn & Oak Cafe Play Limited, a restaurant, cafe or canteen at Unit 36, Royal Quays Outlet Centre, Coble Dene, North Shields was handed a five-out-of-five rating after assessment on August 10.

And Annitsford Tandoori, a takeaway at 11a Front Street, Annitsford, Cramlington, Northumberland was also given a score of five on August 10.
