A South Tyneside restaurant has been handed a new four-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

Coffee Station, a restaurant, cafe or canteen at 5 Station Terrace, East Boldon, Tyne & Wear was given the score after assessment on July 7, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of South Tyneside's 197 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 127 (64%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
