Newcastle-based Atom Technology Solutions has become the UK’s first Managed Service Provider to offer a new Microsoft service to its customers.

The Cloud Migration Factory (CMF) was originally conceived to support larger organisations looking to seamlessly migrate resources to its Microsoft Azure cloud platform.

Microsoft have, however, recently expanded the solution to support small and medium-sized organisations with their cloud migration projects.In September 2024,

Atom Technology Solutions became the first Managed Service Provider in the UK to complete a project utilising the Cloud Migration Factory. This involved migrating a mission critical customer infrastructure to Azure. The achievement is a significant milestone for one of the North East’s fastest growing IT companies and represents a valuable proposition for smaller businesses looking to benefit from the same tools and technologies as their larger counterparts.

Atom collaborated directly with Microsoft to help develop a new version of the service targeted at Managed Service Providers looking after Small to Medium Enterprise businesses. This further demonstrates their standing as a highly respected Managed Service Provider and a trusted partner to Microsoft.
