Loganair celebrates passenger milestone at Newcastle Airport

To mark the occasion, Loganair’s Chief Executive Officer, Luke Farajallah, and Chief Commercial Officer, Luke Lovegrove visited the airport to meet with Nick Jones, Chief Executive Officer at Newcastle Airport and his team to surprise one lucky traveller with free flight vouchers.

Fourth-year medical student Emma Pattie was travelling through the airport with her parents – Newcastle local Stephen, and mum Goro from Norway, when she was presented with the tickets that can be used across Loganair’s network.

Emma said:“It was such a wonderful surprise to be given these tickets – I wasn’t expecting that at all when I arrived at the airport!

“I think I’ll use them to travel back to Norway to spend time with my friends and family when my busy university schedule allows.”

Loganair flies to a host of destinations from Newcastle Airport, boosting business and leisure travel and providing global connectivity through its codeshare agreements with major airline partners, including British Airways.

Passengers can fly to destinations within the UK, including Exeter, Newquay and Southampton, or travel further afield to Bergen and Stavanger in Norway direct.

In May, Loganair reinstated its Newcastle to Newquay route following high demand, with flights running throughout the summer season until the end of October.

Newcastle Airport is serviced by Loganair’s fast and private jet-feel Embraer 145s, one of the speediest and most comfortable regional aircraft.

All Loganair flights include a standard 21kg total luggage allowance (15kg hold and 6kg cabin bags), and advance booking is encouraged to benefit from the best value fares.
