My Property Box Team conquers Hadrian’s Wall for Red Sky Foundation
Braving wind, rain, and occasional sunshine, the team tackled one of the most scenic yet testing stretches of the Roman wall, between Brampton and Hexham. Among the walkers were CEO Ben Quaintrell, and Sales and Lettings Director Marie Wilmot, joined by colleagues from the company’s offices in Newcastle, Darlington, and Northallerton's John Prest Letting Agency, which was acquired last autumn.
Known for its breathtaking views and steep gradients, the route proved a formidable challenge. Accompanied by two dogs, the team completed the trek in under seven hours.

“However, our spirit, determination, and motivation to support the Red Sky Foundation’s amazing work kept us going to the finish, and I’m incredibly proud of everyone who took part.”
This latest fundraiser is part of an ongoing partnership with Red Sky Foundation, which provides life-saving cardiac care and defibrillators. My Property Box has previously raised more than £10,000 for the charity, including £7,000 from a James Bond-themed charity ball and £2,700 from a sponsored climb up Scafell Pike, England’s highest mountain.
Red Sky Foundation was founded by Sergio and Emma Petrucci, inspired by their daughter’s life-saving heart surgery. The North-East-based charity funds vital equipment and specialist cardiac care across the UK, helping to install hundreds of public access defibrillators and supporting cardiac units at Newcastle's Freeman Hospital, Sunderland Royal, and James Cook Hospital in Middlesbrough.
“We might have been wet and weary at the end of our walk,” Ben added, “but knowing why we were doing it made every step worthwhile.”
