David Olusoga part of leaked lineup for Celebrity Traitors

The lineup for Celebrity Traitors has been leaked, with one local name in the running.

David Olusoga is a British-Nigerian historian and broadcaster, best known for his historical documentaries who is expected to take part in the BBC show.

The UK edition of the hugely popular show has only featured regular members of the public in the past, although a Celebrity version is on the horizon.

Born in Nigeria, Olusoga moved to the North East, settling in Gateshead with his mother, although he was forced to leave due to pressure from the National Front. He then didicated his time to history, sepcifically the history of racism and colonialism where before moving into broadcast media.

He was later awarded the freedom of Gateshead in December 2023.

The full leak was released by The Sun, with the likes of Stephen Fry, Alan Carr and Tom Daley among the biggest names taking part.

It is thought filming has started very recently with no release date for the series announced.

Filming for the show will return to the site of the first three seasons of the show at Scotland’s Ardross Castle with Claudia Winkleman once again on presenting duties.
