“NHS staff are gearing up once again to deliver these vaccines at speed, rolling out jabs at more than 3,000 sites across England in order to provide the maximum protection ahead of winter.”

NHS England has said that health teams are to visit care homes and private homes, and will vaccinate around 1.6 million residents, staff and those who are housebound as we enter the second booster phase.

And from 7 September, around four million people will be able to book their booster, with appointments being available from 12 September.
