Sainsbury’s is recalling a chicken product from customers due to a health risk.
The supermarket has issued an “important safety warning” over JS Free From Breaded Mini Fillets, as they have been contaminated with milk.
This means the product is a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy or intolerance to milk or milk constituents.

The packets being recalled have use-by dates of November 15, 16, 17 and 20.
In an alert issued to customers, Sainsbury’s said: “It has been brought to our attention that packets of JS Free From Breaded Mini Fillets 305g that have been purchased at Sainsbury’s with use by dates above, have been contaminated with milk.
“If you have the product above, please return it to your local Sainsbury’s store for a full refund. You do not need a receipt.
“No other JS Free From products have been affected, and we would like to apologise for the inconvenience this may cause.”
The Food Standards Agency has issued an alert and urged customers with an allergy or intolerance to milk or milk constituents not to consume the product.
