Jobs: Newcastle International Airport holding Aviation Careers Day to fill 350 vacancies - how to attend

Newcastle International Airport is calling for job seekers in the North East to attend their Aviation Careers Day. The airport is looking to fill around 350 job vacancies as the transport hub is set to chart new routes and add two new airline carriers in 2023.
The range of jobs on offer at the airport includes Security Officers, Passenger Services Assistants, Cleaning Operatives and Car Parking Operatives, as well as vacancies with the Airport’s on-site business partners, including Jet2.com, World Duty Free, Boots, WHSmith, SSP and Dnata.

Hide AdA range of candidates are needed to cover a range of flexible shift patterns through a mix of full and part-time positions. For those with limited work experience,there will be entry-level positions up for grabs while, for the more accomplished, team leader and managerial vacancies are also on offer.
Speaking ahead of the event, Chief Executive of Newcastle International Airport, Nick Jones, said: “This summer we are expecting even more passengers to pass through our doors heading off on a well-deserved break. As such, we are looking to grow the teams across the Airport to ensure we can provide the high levels of customer service that our customers expect.
“The aviation industry offers excellent career prospects and with a range of roles available. I
would encourage anyone looking for employment or simply for a new challenge to come

Newcastle International Airport’s Aviation Careers Day is taking place on January 27 at St James’ Park, Barrack Road.
