If you’re looking to make a change in 2023, then news Newcastle City Council are recruiting might be of interest. Three different jobs are up for grabs with a total of five posts to be filled, with the closing date to apply looming.

If your new year resolution is to further your career these positions in a variety of fields could be right up your street. And if you’re simply looking for a pay rise to help you through the current cost of living crisis, the wages aren’t too shabby either.

The average salary for all three jobs up for grabs have the potential to exceed the current average salary in the UK. According to Standout-cv.com, the average salary in the UK for full time workers is £33,000.

The vacancies come at a time when the UK unemployment rate as of October 2022 stands at just 3.7 percent, according to Statista. This is one of the lowest unemployment rates since the early 70s.

As the cost of living crisis rages on, and especially after what is usually one of the most expensive times of the year, here are the new jobs advertised by Newcastle City Council.
