5. Dobsons
A lot quieter these days - Newcastle Library expanded on to its old location! Much noisier back in the day when the trebles were flowing...

6. Broken Doll
Once an iconic music bar in Newcastle, the venue for many a legendary gig or music night. St James' Boulevard now runs where it once could be found.

7. The Farmers’ Rest
A big part of the Haymarket drinking route and a huge matchday favourite among Newcastle fans. Now the expanded M&S occupies the site where it once stood.

8. Lennons
If songs from the past were your thing then this was the bar for you. A great spot for a nostalgic night out. Now Sinners stands where it once did.
