Who can get a spring booster jab?
The NHS has outlined who is eligible to receive a spring booster Covid-19 jab.
The jab is being offered to people aged 75 and over as well as all people aged 12 and over who have a weakened immune system.

Hide AdIf you have any of the below, you will be offered a booster jab
- a blood cancer (such as leukaemia or lymphoma)
- a weakened immune system due to a treatment (such as steroid medicine, biological therapy, chemotherapy or radiotherapy)
- an organ or bone marrow transplant
- a condition that means you have a very high risk of getting infections
- a condition or treatment your specialist advises makes you eligible for a 3rd dose and a booster (4th dose)
For the best protection from your spring booster, it is recommended that you wait six months from your last jab before receiving it.
How will I know when to go and get my spring booster jab?
The NHS are contacting people who are eligible for a fourth ‘spring booster’ jab via text or post.
You will be invited to get your jab through this, and you are asked to take the text/ letter with you when you get vaccinated.
