

Hosted by Estrella Galicia, the Newcastle event is set to be held on Saturday September 18 as part of the beer companies ‘Gastronomy Month’.

The Gastronomy tour sees three Newcastle restaurants take part, each with a host chef presenting and explaining the dishes on display.
Starting at Kaltur Wine Bar & Restaurant on Dean Street, the ticketed event offers food fans two tapas dishes of Shiitake croquettes and Slow-cooked Spanish lamb, along with an Estrella beer, of course.
Next is Fuego, inside Fenwick’s food hall, where diners will be offered gambas a la plancha with garlic and chilli, and pork belly pinxos.

The tour ends at Kaltur High Bridge, with tapas dishes of baby squid with black pudding, along with risotto style rice, seasonal vegetables and duck magret.
Each course will be presented and explained by the host chef and dishes will be paired with different Estrella Galicia beers.

Tickets start at £45 and offer six tapas dishes across three tapas restaurants.
