Greggs Festive Menu 2021: What are the new food items in the bakery ahead of Christmas?

New vegan items are a fresh addition to the menu which also includes drinks and pastries for the colder weather.

Greggs is a staple of the North East, and the announcement bakery’s festive menu is an exciting part of the Christmas build-up to many, but what is being released across the country this winter?

The full Autumn and Winter menu sees Greggs adding further vegan alternatives including meat free breakfast options and a fully vegan Festive Bake alternative. Old favourites are also returning including the pumpkin spice latte and the original Festive Bake.

The iconic bakery already has many new items available in stores across the North East including a roast chicken & stuffing baguette which costs £3.20. Greggs describe the baguette as your “Sunday roast favourite on the go” and includes sage & onion stuffing with rich chicken gravy for good measure.

Spicy chicken and red pepper soup at £2 and a sticky toffee muffin priced at £1.05 have also been added to the nationwide menu.

Take away breakfasts have also been made more varied thanks to a vegan alternative of the traditional sausage breakfast roll (£1.90) while customers can also get a two pack of hash browns starting at £1 to begin their morning. A vegan breakfast bacon roll is also available for the same price as the sausage counterpart, but it is limited to 100 stores.

The new items are rounded off with a Pumpkin Spice Latte which costs £1.95.

The release of the Festive Bake is a pivotal aspect of the build up to Christmas for many, and they won’t have long to wait until they can sink their teeth into a festive favourite with Greggs announcing the pastry will be available from 4 November.

In addition to the traditional version of the snack, Greggs are also releasing a vegan version of the bake which includes savoury flavour Quorn pieces, sage & onion stuffing balls and vegan bacon crumb, finished with a sage and cranberry sauce.
