One of Newcastle’s newest Italian restaurants, Rudys on Grey Street, has collaborated with self titled ‘best pizzeria in the world’, Napoli On The Road, to create a limited-edition White Capricciosa. This is a Rudy’s twist on Napoli On The Road’s best-selling pizza which features Sorrentina fior di latte, artichokes, wild mushroom, Emilia-Romagna prosciutto, black olive crumb and truffle oil.

In addition, the Rudy’s brand is launching a competition where fans of the Italian food can look to create their own version of Neapolitan pizza which will be put on a limited edition of menus across the UK. The winner will not only have their glorious pizza featured on Rudy’s menus, but will also win a brand new pizza oven, a Rudy’s loyalty card offering free pizza for a whole year and much more.

Elsewhere, Bella Italia is celebrating World Pizza Day with a nationwide giveaway of 1,500 free Margherita pizzas.
