Newcastle United star Sandro Tonali and Declan Donnelly headed to the Jesmond site over the festive period.

They joined other famous faces such as actor Charlie Hunnam and rapper 50 Cent who have tried the restaurant out in the past.
On two seperate occasions over the Christmas and New Year period Dabbawal in Jesmond shared photos of one half of Ant and Dec just before New Year with the caption: “Such a buzz in the restaurant last night with Dec there - yes, Ant’s other half! Lovely to have you home.
A matter of days later a second image was posted with the caption: “What a way to kick off the year!️ A lovely visit from the majestic SAndro Tonali - straight in for his favourites: Old Delhi Butter Chicken and our famous Bombay Bombs.
“From hosting national favourite Declan Donnely last week, to NUFC players this week… it’s all part of the magic over here.”
The Jesmond restaurant, which is situated on Brentwood Avenue, is one of two Dabbawal restaurants in the city.
The other is found on High Bridge in the city centre.
