Mother’s Day is edging closer and closer, and if you’re still looking for a place to eat out this Sunday there are plenty of options across the city.

Just off the Quayside, Gusto Italian are offering a series of deals this Sunday. Anyone booking a table can enjoy a two course meal from their Sunday menu for £20.

Staying near the Tyne, celebrity chef Gino D’Acampo’s Quayside restaurant are offering a special deal this Mother’s Day with a specially designed menu for the big day, in addition to the site’s regular Sunday roast.
Closer to the heart of the city centre, The Botanist group are offering a special Mother’s Day experience with food, rotisserie roasts, live music as well as promising a small gift for the mums who eat there. Brunch and Sunday Lunch options are available.
For more live music, families should look no further than the Vermont Hotel, who are offering a family afternoon tea accompanied by a live act for £21.95 per adult and £12.95 for under 10s.

Hide AdAnother formal option comes from Jesmond Dene House, who are offering both lunch and afternoon tea options this Sunday. The lunch option comes in the form of a traditional Sunday roast in the site’s main Fern Dining Room and Bar while afternoon tea, costing £42 per adult and £20 per child, will be offered to families in the house’s Great Hall.

Those who prefer street food to more formal occasions should take a look at My Delhi on Clayton Street. The vibrant restaurant has a full Mother’s Day menu available for £19.95 per person. Other street food options will be available at the Sunday Quayside Market where some last minute gifts will also be available throughout the day!
