Greggs late night openings: Bakery chain confirm later openings in Newcastle and other selected stores

Fast food chain Greggs has announced a number of its stores will stay open later and offer a new dinner menu, with multiple in Newcastle now closing later.

If you’ve ever wanted one of Greggs’ sweet or savoury treats after work, now your luck is in as they’re set to be open later.

Greggs confirmed the news earlier in the week, stating that their new dinner items would be available to customers in select stores across the UK.

Some Greggs will be open as late as 11pm, in stores in major cities such as Manchester, Glasgow and more.

What is on the new menu?

Despite a new menu, fan favourites such as sausage rolls, a variety of bakes and toasties will still be available.

The new dinner menu includes customisable pizzas that come with a choice of three toppings, including Chargrill Chicken, Mexican Chicken, Pepperoni, Red Onion, Jalapenos and Mixed Peppers, on top of a focaccia base.

Customers can pick up any pizza and drink for £2.20 past 4pm.

A selection of meal deal bundles and a range of sides are also available, including Southern Fried Potato Wedges, Spicy BBQ Chicken Bites, Southern Fried Chicken Goujons or Vegan Southern Fried Chicken-Free Goujons.

A pizza meal deal bundle includes a boxed pizza, sharing wedges and a hot sweet.
