ewcastle based cocktail distributors Kocktail, who began a subscription service in the first national lockdown, have now launched their products in John Lewis stores and online.

We tried Kocktail’s new autumn range, which includes Pumpkin Spiced Espresso Martini, Cherry Cola Old Fashioned and Chocolate Negroni.

The cocktails are pre-made and bottled, designed by award-winning bartender Neil Donachie, using premium ingredients to ensure an exquisite taste.

On first sip, the cocktails are incredibly strong with the main notes of the flavour incredibly prominent. With the Pumpkin Spiced Espresso Martini, the pumpkin spiced notes were the first layer of the cocktail you could taste, while the coffee taste of the espresso martini aspect were secondary. Similarly, with the Cherry Cola Old Fashioned, the Cherry Cola notes stood out first.

Given the warmth of the alcohol, and the way the range perfectly encapsulates the taste of autumn, Kocktails range would be the ideal addition to a cosy night in - in front of a fire, or an indoor social gathering.

The cocktails had a classic taste, which has the ability to make the consumer feel that what they are drinking is a true, timeless cocktail. It is not watered down or sugary, it is the real deal.
