Paige Thorpe and Adam Collard seemed to be going from strength to strength following their exit from Love Island this year - that was until Paige deleted all trace of her Newcastle boyfriend from social media channel sparking rumours of a split.

The pair met after Collard’s controversial return to the popular ITV programme, going through a rollercoaster of emotions before deciding to make it official and continue their relationship outside the villa. They became known for posting loved up snaps on social media and were believed to be one of the stronger couples to come out of the Villa.

That was until recently, when reports of a split began to swirl following the personal trainer’s recent trip to Bali in which he was spotted with his arm around a girl in McDonald’s.

A spokesperson for Collard said: "Adam headed to McDonald’s after a night out with friends. His friends were alongside him when a group of girls asked for photos and Adam, being his friendly self, was open to posing and chatting to the girls, alongside other fans who wanted to chat in the same video. Adam understands how this video looks but wants to state that he left the restaurant with his friends and a box of 60 nuggets (with nothing or no one else) with the intention of getting home safely. Adam and Paige are currently dating and Adam only has eyes for her."

However, since this initial statement was released, Thorpe has stripped her Instagram page of any presence of Adam Collard. So, have the Love Island couple called it quits? Here’s everything we know so far about the alleged reports.

What has been said about the split?

Neither of the stars have commented on whether or not they have ended their relationship. However, fellow Love Island star, Andrew Le Page recently told The Sun that the couple were very much still together.

Le Page said: "Paige and Adam are still together - they’re really good and Paige is good. The reason Adam isn’t here [an event Paige was at last week] is because he’s had to fly to Bali. They haven’t broken up."

Adam and Paige on Love Island

The pair met on season 8 of the popular dating reality show which aired in 2022. Adam Collard entered the Love Island villa on July 11, and quickly coupled up with paramedic Paige Thorne.

The pair made it all the way to their final date before leaving the villa on July 31. Earlier in the episode the couple had been voted the least compatible couple. Adam Collard said he believed he and Paige “will make it work” outside the villa in their exit interview from the ITV2 show.
