National Spa Week 2022: Best spas in Newcastle including City Retreat, Mineral House and Slaley Hall

National Spa week began on Halloween, and ends today - why not book yourself a treatment to celebrate

Halloween marked the start of National Spa Week 2022 and lucky for us, Newcastle is home to some of the best spas in the country, worth booking a  visit this week.

National spa week aims to raise public awareness of the physical, mental and emotional benefits that regular spa attendance can offer. The benefits of visiting a spa are seemingly endless. A spa can help you de-stress, enhance your sleep, release serotonin, dopamine and much more.

It’s been a stressful year for many. The cost of living crisis and more has had a toll on most, so why not treat yourself ahead of the festive season.

Organisers of National Spa Week said: “Our 21st century lives are fast paced, more digitally influenced, and busier than ever before. In the same way regular gym attendance keeps us physically fit, regular spa attendance is an effective way to help combat the long term effects of everyday stress that we have become accustomed to living with.”
