Quayside favourite named amongst the best riverside restaurants and pubs in the UK

Trakol on the Gateshead Quayside has been named one of the best riverside restaurants and bars in the UK by The Sunday Times.

Nestled right underneath the Tyne Bridge, By the River Brew Co has been a go-to for Geordies because of its amazing view of the river and its bridges.

The restaurant is part of the larger complex. Translating to ‘charcoal’ in Swedish, the site is famed for its open fire kitchen, seasonal cooking and mammoth Sunday dinners.

Celebrating on social media , By the River Brew Co posted: ‘SIGN OF THE TIMES! Just as the sun has started to peep out onto the South Bank we are delighted to be named in The Times and The Sunday Times UK’s best riverside restaurants and pubs!
