Newcastle have lined up some huge summer fixtures this year against some hugely entertaining squads from across Europe.

The amount of live music across the city is also something to keep an eye on over the summer. In addition to Rock N Roll Circus and Loosefest, plenty of gigs are happening across the city with names such as Roger Daltrey, Pixies, Kings of Leon and more hitting the North East this summer.
