Around £190,000 worth of illegal e-cigarettes have been seized from a takeaway shop in Newcastle.

Children were found to be using the Elf and Geek Bar Pros which contain an illegal amount of nicotine.

Trading standards has now launched a criminal investigation.

Elsewhere, a pop up vaccination centre has opened in the Grainger Market.

Anyone over the age of 16 can attend the vaccination clinic to get their first second and a booster jab.

And in December the pop up clinic will open on Saturdays for children aged between 12-15 who missed out on the school vaccination programme.

Meanwhile, Noel Gallagher has announced that Newcastle will be one of the stops on his Rock and Roll Circus Tour.

His touring concept will include live entertainment with a circus theme and it will take place on the Town Moor in June next year.
