13. Blueberry (Staffordshire Bull Terrier Cross)
Blueberry is a very scared, nervous and timid young lady, in fact, she is one of the most shut down dogs that has walked through the shelter's doors. From the moment she arrived, she just wanted to hide away and not even be looked at; heart-breaking to witness. Blueberry has come a long way during her time in the shelter, but still has a long way to go. | Newcastle Dog & Cat Shelter

14. Hemingway
Hemingway hasn’t been in care for long so shelter staff are still getting to know him but he has a very strong dislike for other cats which is making it harder for them to get to know his true personality. He arrived in care as a stray, so they don’t know his history. Hemingway is a confident lad, he’s nice to people initially but he gets frustrated by the other cats in the cattery and he sometimes misdirects his frustration towards staff. | Newcastle Dog & Cat Shelter

15. Hunter (Whippet Cross)
Hunter is a beautiful boy and a sensitive soul with a lot of big feelings. He has a very sweet personality and loves a cuddle with his human friends. Hunter has struggled in the shelter environment and can get very stressed in his kennel. Once out and about on a walk he is a different dog entirely. He walks well and takes in his surroundings without any drama. | Newcastle Dog & Cat Shelter

16. Yeti (American Bulldog)
Yeti is a delightful, playful and goofy lad always on the look out for some fun and attention! Yeti arrived into care as a stray and was in quite a state bless his heart. His skin was in a terrible condition and his ears bled they were so bad; he must have been in so much pain. Despite being a chunky boy, Yeti still seems to believe he is a lapdog and will happily jump on you knee for a cuddle! | Newcastle Dog & Cat Shelter
