Newcastle is proud to have two top universities, Newcastle University and Northumbria University.

1. Rowan Atkinson

2. Kate Adie

3. Princess Eugenie

4. Sting
Gordon Sumner (better known as Sting), studied Teaching Studies at Northumbria University in 1973, ahead of finding fame as the lead singer of The Police and as a solo artist.
