After weeks of build up and some derby stories which will be told for years to come, the day is nearly here for Newcastle United and its fans - around 6,000 of whom will be travelling to Sunderland's Stadium of Light on Saturday for the first derby between the two clubs since early 2016.
The away end may be larger than many expected when the game was initially drawn as part the FA Cup third round draw, but plenty of fans will need to watch the game from Tyneside, being unable to make the short trip to Sunderland.

Luckily for anyone wanting to watch the game in Newcastle, there are a few options.
1. The Grove
The Grove in Byker shows every televised Newcastle game, and the derby is no different. The site is opening its bar with no tickets or reservations required.
2. NX Newcastle
Some Geordies might not recognise NX Newcastle, which has taken over and done up what was formerly the O2 Academy Newcastle. It was most recently used by fans to watch the 2022 World Cup, and it is opening for fans again this Saturday. Tickets can be bought through the venue's website.
3. Ouseburn Garden
Further east, Ouseburn Garden is offering free entry to its fanzone, although tickets need to be booked in advance.
4. Market Shaker
Market Shaker in the city centre has an all-ticket event for the derby, with access available to order online for free. Photo: Google
