Lindisfarne Festival
Lindisfarne Festival is a music and arts festival that will take place over a weekend at the end of August on the Northumberland coast. The festival, which has been held since 2015, will return to Beal Farm which overlooks Holy Island from August 31 until September 3. Confirmed acts include legendary Scottish rock band Primal Scream. Generator Live
Generator Live is a festival celebrating up and coming North East talent. The festival has been held under the name Generator Live since last year but it has actually been going for the past 20 years under different names, originally as Evolution Emerging. The line-up for 2023 is yet to be announced, and hopeful performers can apply for a place now. The event will take place in September in Newcastle. Tickets can be purchased here.
This Is Tomorrow
This Is Tomorrow takes place at Exhibition Park in Newcastle, on Friday May 26. The line-up is yet to be announced and tickets are yet to be on sale. The organisers have previously held special versions of their festivals for NHS key workers. In previous years, This Is Tomorrow has had the likes of Sam Fender perform.

Hide AdLost Minds will be returning to Newcastle’s Leazes Park for the second year in a row. The festival, which focuses on EDM, trance and hardstyle music has three stages, VIP section, a festival village and an afterparty. The line-up consists of big names such as Ben Nicky. Coastella
Coastella is a festival celebrating North East talent, being held in Tynemouth at the end of June and start of July. Headlining the festival are North East-based band The Futureheads, with up and coming local talent also performing. Tickets are priced at £30 for Friday or £80 for a weekend pass.
