5 Newcastle restaurants still offering Christmas Day dinners in 2023

Christmas dinner is one of the highlights of the festive period each year, but those tasked with crafting and cooking the meal would often rather it be left to someone else.

It may still be months away yet, but there are plenty of restaurants across Newcastle which are still taking bookings for Christmas dinners on 25 December.

So where can you eat out in Newcastle on Christmas day?

The Vermont Hotel

The Vermont Hotel is still advertising its Christmas Day meals as part of its huge festive programme.

Adult meals start from £84.95 per person for a three course meal and complimentary drink while children under ten can eat for £49.25. A £10 deposit is required to book with availablity able to be checked over the phone and email.

Miller and Carter

The popular chain also has an offer of a city centre three course meal on December 25 this year.

As part of a set menu, Miller and Carter’s Newcastle site is promising a cheese souffle to start alongside an “all new Christmas Day steak experience.”

The Christmas Day menu is available to book for £94.95 while bookings require a £10 per person deposit.

The Brandling Arms, Gosforth

The Gosforth gastropub is already planning for this December and are pushing the boat out with a five course meal on offer for Christmas Day.

Prices start from £79.50 for all five courses while glasses of prosecco and champagne bring the cost up to £84.50 and £89.50 respectively while the children’s three course menu is available for £33.50.

The Hudson

Back in the city centre, The Hudson on Neville Street also has a full Christmas Day menu on offer as part of its festive brochure.

Three course meals start at £95 per adult and £50 per child with a £10 required.

As You Like It

Back in Jesmond, As You Like It is offering Christmas Day bookings with a handful of slots still available.

The venue's website is keeping their Christmas offerings quiet for the time being but bookings for the big day are now available online.
