Amber Rose Gill became Newcastle’s favourite TV geordie when she participated and went on to win ITV’s Love Island back in 2019.
Since then, the straight-talking 25-year-old from Gateshead has continued to remain in the spotlight for positive reasons.

Amber is an advocate for mental health, being one of two former Love Island contestants (alongside series three’s Kem Cetinay) enlisted to create a series for ITV last year, The Full Treatment focusing on mental health and wellbeing.
Most recently, she has opened up on her mental health struggles in an interview with OK Magazine, where she explained how seeking validation from other people was taking a toll on her mental health.
In a surprising career choice for a Love Island star, in July of this year, Amber released a fiction book Until I Met You published by Mills and Boon. She posted an excited announcement to Instagram in April showcasing the book cover and providing fans with details.
Amber also suggested that she is a bisexual woman, earlier this year. Further helping to use her platform and voice to champion under-represented groups such as the LGBTQ+ community.

Now, Amber is taking part in the gruelling TV show, Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins which starts tonight on Channel 4 at 9pm. The show where famous personalities partake in tough courses, led by ex-special forces.
Amber has continued throughout her career to break down the usual stereotypes that reality TV stars are tarred with. The geordie girl is dominating the industry right now and we love to see it!
