Angels of the North pull off BALTIC stunt ahead of series return

Angels of the North is back with a new series

The BBC team behind Angels of the North pulled off an eye-catching stunt on Newcastle's BALTIC Centre for Contemporary Art in Gateshead last night.

An image promoting the show was projected onto the side of the building and lit up the sky with search beams.

The BBC Three show follows the lives of the Longlox Hair Extensions staff both on the salon floor and in the ladies' hectic daily routines.

The show is back with a third series and are giving Geordies the chance to catch a sneak peak later this month.

In the latest offering viewers will meet the stylists' friends and boyfriends, who are part of other successful local businesses.

It includes a tattoo studio in Newcastle city centre that’s booming thanks to the high standards of its young boss and a Jarrow boxing gym run by a personal trainer with a passion for helping young people punch their way to the top.

Stars of the show are hosting a red carpet event at The Boiler Shop on October 20.

There will be a Q&A with cast members and fans can apply for tickets here.
