Geordie presenting duo Ant and Dec were recently spotted at St James’ Park, for the Newcastle United match against Dortmund on Wednesday, October 25.

According to the Daily Mail, the nation’s most loved presenters, who are self-proclaimed NUFC fans, returned to their home city for the UEFA Champions League game, bringing Ant’s 15-year-old stepdaughter with them to enjoy the match.

The pair previously stated in interviews and in their joint autobiographies Ooh! What A Lovely Pair and Once Upon A Tyne, that they didn’t originally get along with each other when they first met on the set of Newcastle-based children’s drama series Byker Grove in the nineties.

However, they soon bonded over their love of Newcastle United, and continue to travel to the city to watch home matches whenever they can.

Sadly for the fans including the television stars, Newcastle United were defeated in the Wednesday game by Dortmund, who won with a score of 1-0.

Despite the disappointing score, Ant and Dec appeared to be in good spirits, posing for photos with fans and enjoying their visit to their favourite football ground.

The pair will soon jet off to Australia for the 2023 series of I’m A Celebrity: Get Me Out of Here.

According to The Independent, celebrities rumoured to be taking part include; Ru Paul’s Drag Race UK winner The Vivienne, Love Island’s Olivia Attwood (who had to withdraw from a previous series of the show), former Prime Minister Liz Truss, Big Brother and This Morning star Josie Gibson, Rugby player Danny Cipriani and many huge names in the world of celebrity.
