MTV’s Newcastle-based reality television series has dominated our screens since 2011, and is still continuing to this day as Geordie Shore: The Reunion.
While the original series focused on young people from Newcastle partying in the city, the reunion show gives viewers an insight into some of Geordie Shore’s biggest characters, as they move on to new stages of their lives.
The cast of Geordie Shore has had many shake-ups over the years, with fan favourites such as Vicky Pattison and Gary Beadle choosing to leave the show behind, and brand-new fresh faces being introduced.
Here are six main cast members from Geordie Shore who were sadly axed from the show, as we look at where they are today.
1. Greg Lake (Series 1)
Greg Lake was part of the original line-up of Geordie Shore, appearing in series one and spin-off special Magaluf Madness. In series two, Greg did not return to the show and fellow cast member Vicky Pattison revealed in her 2014 autobiography that he was axed by producers. Many years after leaving Geordie Shore, Greg launched his own restaurant in Northumberland named Novo, but it has since closed. He also welcomed a child, with his then girlfriend Hollyoaks’ Jennifer Metcalfe. He is now in a relationship with hair care influencer Alicia Rudge.
2. Rebecca Walker (Series 2-3)
Rebecca Walker was a brand-new addition to Geordie Shore in series two. During her time on the show, she had conflict with Vicky Pattison and a brief fling with Jay Gardner. She remained on the show for series three, before being axed to make way for new additions to the show in series four. Rebbeca now lives life away from the spotlight, but can be found on social media. She is a mother-of-three, to two boys and one girl. On her Instagram, she frequently posts photos of family life.
3. Daniel Thomas-Tuck (Series 4-5)
Daniel Thomas-Tuck joined Geordie Shore in series four, alongside fan favourite Scotty T. During his time on the show, Daniel was a bit of an underdog, struggling to keep up with the partying ways of the rest of the cast. Daniel was given the boot after series five. Daniel seems to have completely disappeared from the spotlight, and his previous private Instagram has now been deleted. However, according to The Sun, Dan previously announced that he was to become a first-time father in December 2023.
4. Marty McKenna (Series 12-15)
Walker-born Marty McKenna joined the cast of Geordie Shore for series 12. During the show he had an on and off relationship with fellow cast member Chloe Ferry. Marty was axed due to drug-related issues originally before being brought back to the show. He was axed once again due to his behaviour on Celebs Go Dating - which is made by the same producers of Geordie Shore. Marty is active on social media and also has an OnlyFans page. According to his Instagram account, Marty has recently been travelling in Thailand.
