Dakwala will celebrate the working-class roots of Bombay’s food culture, which will combine the history and food culture of the city on India’s west coast with contemporary yet authentic dining.

The brand-new restaurant will serve dishes which capture the essence of the city’s rich heritage, taking diners on a culinary journey through Bombay’s diverse and flavourful streets.

Dakwala will offer a specially curated menu, showcasing the best food of Bombay, from street food to innovative twists on traditional dishes.

The venue itself is said to provide an immersive ambience, with a contemporary design reminiscent of the early 1990s.

Alongside its delicious Bombay-inspired menu, Dakwala will also house a stylish bar with a carefully curated drinks menu designed to compliment the food, such as traditional and neo-Indian cocktails. Beers, ciders, spirits and soft drinks will also be available.

The inviting space will accommodate up to 220 covers, meaning it will be a great location for all occasions.
