Bruno Guimaraes shares hilarious video with Joelinton as Newcastle United stars gather

Newcastle United are a close-knit team. There is no doubt their friendships and togetherness is one of the reasons they’re so successful on the pitch. And no duo exemplifies this more than Bruno Guimaraes and Joelinton.

The Brazilian midfielders have become inseparable since Bruno joined the club last year, culminating in Joelinton taking the role of best man at his summer wedding.

And last night they showed off their friendship as they marked Joelinton’s 27th birthday. Posting to his Instagram story, Bruno gushed over his teammate, writing: ‘Happy birthday my brother! May Jesus fill you with happiness and peace the rest of us run after you.

‘I love you and I’m very grateful to you for everything you’ve been doing for me since I got here at the club.

‘I love you and enjoy your day and your moment because you deserve it. Know you can always count on me.’

But the loving message isn’t the main talking point of the birthday celebrations. Later in the afternoon, Bruno posted a video of the pair hilariously singing a Brazilian tune with the backing of a full band.

Each singing with giant smiles on their face, it’s a lively performance to say the least.

And the duo weren’t the only Newcastle players in attendance. Miguel Almiron was also there with his long-term partner Alexia Notto and their son.
